Are you pregnant and would like to breastfeed your child? Our online course is meant to help you make a good start. The course is split over two evenings and your partners are welcome to attand the course together with you.
During the first evening we discuss preparation for breastfeeding and the first weeks: what is normal drinking behaviour, how to trigger and maintain milk supply, recognising hunger signals, how can you tell whether the baby drinks enough, the role of the partner
During the second evening we discuss a couple of more frecquently occuring problems and how to address them, pumping and preserving milk, combining breastfeeding with work.
The cost of the course is € 30 + shipping costs and includes support materials: the breastfeeding pocket guide, brochures addressing the needs of the first weeks specifically, practical overview sheets for calculating the milk portions, milk expressing and preserving guidelines, and a Foley cup for supplementing when necessary
